Review

The biker-rock compilation EZ Ridin' features nine tracks from hard rock and Southern rock artists such as Elvin Bishop, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and the James Gang. Despite its short length, the album does manage to feature some of these genres' undisputed classics, chief among them the Allman Brothers' "Ramblin' Man," Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Call Me the Breeze," Golden Earring's "Radar Love," and the quintessential biker anthem, Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild." Rainbow's "Street of Dreams" and Humble Pie's "(I'm A) Road Runner" round out this collection, which may offer enough music for casual fans but will almost undoubtedly leave die-hard fans of motorcycles and the music that sounds best with them wanting more. ~ Heather Phares
