Bahari

Bahari are an alternative pop duo from Manhattan Beach, California. Born from a fortunate encounter at a studio, the group was formed in 2014 and was initially a trio composed of Ruby Carr, Natalia Panzarella, and Sidney Sartini. “Wild Ones,” their folky debut single, came out that same year via Interscope Records and quickly blew up online, racking up over 40 million streams and appearing in TV shows like Teen Wolf and The Royals. In 2015, Bahari lent their voices to the hit song “Addicted to a Memory,” featured on Zedd’s True Colors. Following the success of their debut EP Dancing on the Sun in 2016, Bahari dropped two cover versions of The Youngbloods’ “Get Together” (2017) and Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth” (2018) before terminating their contract with Interscope. Sartini left the band shortly after the release of the 2018 singles “Fucked Up” and “Chasers,” after which Carr and Panzarella continued as a duo. A collaboration with Sultan & Shepard and Rock Mafia titled “Miles to Your Heart” saw the light in 2019 and was followed by the singles “Gameboy,” “Savage,” and “Waking Up the Neighbors,” which acted as a teaser for their studio debut, The Virgin Suicides, released in 2021.
