Big Wreck

Canadian singer and guitarist Ian Thornley formed Big Wreck with guitarist Brian Doherty and bass player Dave Henning when they attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston together in the early 1990s. They performed locally and released their debut album 'In Loving Memory Of.' in 1998 with the singles 'The Oaf (My Luck Is Wasted)', which peaked at number nine on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Chart, and 'That Song', which went to number 32. Their second album 'The Pleasure & the Greed', released in 2001, went to number ten on Billboard's Canadian Albums Chart. The band members went their separate ways in 2002 but Thornley and Henning reunited in 2012 for the album 'Albatross', which reached number five on the Canadian Albums Chart and number nine on the Mainstream Rock Chart and was nominated for a Juno Award in Canada as Rock Album of the Year. 2014's 'Ghosts' peaked at number five in Canada and earned the band another Juno Award nomination. Their latest album, 'Grace Street', came out in February 2017 and went to number five on the Canadian Chart.
