Music-French hip-hop producer, Fabrice Franck Henri has been creating music since the 1990s, first as part of the band Alliance Ethnik and later as a solo artist under the stage name Guts. He released his first solo album, Le Bienheureux via Wax On Records in 2007 and followed that up with Freedom, released on his own label, Pura Vida Music, in 2009. After signing with French label, Heavenly Sweetness, Guts released a string of hip-hop and soul infused albums including Paradise For All (2011), Hip Hop After All (2014), Eternal (2016), and Philantropiques in 2019. He has also released two instrumentals records on the label, Pura Vida Club 1 and 2, as well as a series of compilations (Beach Diggin') with Los-Angeles-based painter, Mambo. Guts has also collaborated with a number of artists including Patrice, Tanya Morgan, Cody ChesnuTT, Masta Ace, Murs and Grand Puba. In 2013 he released the Django EP, containing “Django Remix”, a track inspired by Quentin Tarantino's Oscar nominated film, Django Unchained. In 2019, Guts released a six track record entitled Kenke Corner EP, which featured a more African-centric sound and contained appearances from Hippomène Leauva and Samito.
