K Camp

Kristopher Campbell - born April 27, 1990 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin – is better known as hip hop and R&B rapper/singer K Camp. His main musical influences include Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., and Andre 3000 (Outkast). Raised in Atlanta, Georgia, he started his music career in high school by joining fellow classmates in hip hop group HBC (Head Busser Clique). When the group split, K Camp continued pursuing a rap career by performing at open mic nights. His first release was the 2009 mix tape called All Night. Signing with Interscope Records, he followed that up with the several other mix tapes including Fan 4 Life (2012), Show Money (2013), and Workaholics (2013). He released his first EP, In Due Time, in 2014. The single, “Cut Her Off” (featuring 2 Chainz), rose to Number 49 on the Billboard Top 100 Singles chart. His 2015 debut album, Only Way Is Up, featured guest spots from Snoop Dogg, Jeremih, and T.I. The album contained the hit singles “Lil Bit”, “Comfortable”, and “1Hunnid” (featuring Fetty Wap). More mix tapes and EPs followed before he released his second album RARE Sound (2018). His third album, Wayy 2 Kritical, was released in 2019. The album featured the single “Lottery”, which became a sensation on various social media platforms thanks to a dance challenge called ‘Renegade’. In 2020, he released he album Kiss Five. Because of the social media dance craze, his previous hit, “Lottery” was renamed “Lottery (Renegade)” and added as a bonus track. The album featured the hit single “What’s On Your Mind” (featuring Jacquees).
