Kellie Coffey

Kellie Coffey is an American country singer-songwriter who began performing at a young age in Oklahoma City and got into the music business after she moved to Los Angeles. Her 2001 debut single 'When You Like Next to Me' went to number three on Billboard's Hot 100 and number eight on the Hot Country Songs Chart. 'At the End of the Day' topped the Hot Country Songs chart and reached number 18 on the Hot 100. 'Whatever it Takes' peaked at number 44 on the Hot Country Songs chart. The tracks appear on her first studio album, 'When You Like Next to Me', which went to number five on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and number 54 on the Billboard 200. She won the Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Female Vocalist in 2003. An album titled 'Walk On' came out in 2007 and she released an EP titled 'Why I'm Alive' in 2009. The 2004 track 'Texas Plates' hit number 24 on the Hot Country Songs chart and 'Dance With My Father' (2004) peaked at number 44.
