Lloyd Banks

Christopher Lloyd, who goes by the name Lloyd Banks, is an American rapper who gained fame with childhood friends 50 Cent and Tony Yayo in the successful hip-hop group G-Unit. Formed in New York City in 1999, they had several hit singles and albums and each member went on to solo success. Banks's 2004 debut solo release 'The Hunger for More' and 'Rotten Apple' (2006) went to number one on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts and 'H.F.M.2 (Hunger for More 2)' (2010) reached number four on the Rap Chart and six on the Hip-Hop Chart. His 2004 single 'On Fire', Grammy Award-nominated as Best Rap Solo Performance, went to number two on the Hot Rap Songs Chart, four on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart and eight on the Billboard Hot 100, 'Karma' (2005) featuring Avant reached number six on the Rap Songs Chart, nine on the Hip-Hop Chart and 17 on the 100. 'You Don't Know' (2006) with Eminem, 50 Cent and Ca$shis peaked at number 12 on the Hot 100 and 'Beamer, Benz Or Bentley' (2010) featuring Juelz Santana went to number five on the Rap Chart and 19 on the Hip-Hop Chart. His 2018 schedul included appearances at venues in New York City.
