Maria Mena

Maria Mena is a pop, folk and rock singer from Oslo whose musician father introduced her first demo tape to record producers. Signed by Sony Music, her 2002 debut album, 'Another Phase', went to number six on the Norway Albums Chart and the track 'My Lullaby' reached number five on the Norway Singles Chart. Her second album 'Mellow', peaked at number seven on the Norway Albums Chart, 'Apparently Unaffected' (2005) hit number six, 'Cause and Effect' (2008) number four, 'Viktoria' (2011) number two, 'Weapon in Mind' (2013) number one and 'Growing Pains' (2015) number six. Her 2006 singles 'Just Hold Me' and 'Miss You Love' went to number two on the Norway Singles Chart, 'Belly Up' (2008) reached number four, 'All This Time' (2008) number seven and 'Home for Christmas' (2010) topped the chart. She has collaborated with acts such as Whimsical, Sasha, Jaa9 & OnklP, Madcon, LidoLido and Bun B and toured internationally. Her 2019 schedule was to include appearances at venues in the Netherlands.
