Natalie Grant

Natalie Grant is one of the most decorated female vocalists in contemporary Christian music history, with multiple Grammy nominations, Dove Awards, and Top 10 hit singles under her belt. She was born in Seattle, Washington, on December 21, 1971. Moving to Nashville during the 1990s, she launched her solo career with a self-titled debut album in 1999. Stronger followed in 2001. Grant's third album, Deeper Life, appeared in 2003 and scored the hit song "Love for Today," which reached Number 13 on the Hot Christian Songs chart, as well as the hit "No Sign of It," which climbed to Number 25 on the Adult Contemporary chart. This multi-format success intensified with her fourth album, Awaken, which reached Number 2 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums and spawned a handful of crossover singles, including the Top 10 Christian hits "Held" and "What Are You Waiting For." Awaken went gold and received six different nominations at the GMA Dove Awards in 2006, with Grant winning "Female Vocalist of the Year." She won the same award in 2007, 2008, and 2009, releasing albums like the Christmas collection Believe (2005) and the pop/rock record Relentless (2008) along the way. Relentless featured the singles "In Better Hands," "I Will Not Be Moved," and "Perfect People," all of which reached the Top 10 on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart. The album itself also reached Number 2 on Top Christian Albums, as did its 2010 follow-up, Love Revolution. 2013's Hurricane marked Grant's first album to reach Number 1, and she returned to the top of the Christian charts with her next release, Be One, in 2015. After releasing No Stranger in 2020, Natalie Grant returned to the charts yet again with "You Will Be Found," a duet with Cory Asbury that reached Number 40 on Hot Christian Songs in late 2022.
