Night Demon

Inspired by the old-school sounds of 1980s heavy metal, Night Demon formed in May 2011 in Ventura, California. Vocalist/bassist Jarvis Leatherby and guitarist Brent Woodward launched the band, then added drummer Patrick Bailey to complete the power trio's original lineup. A self-titled EP, Night Demon, arrived in June 2013, and the band made its full-length debut two years later with Curse of the Damned. Released internationally, Curse of the Damned marked Woodward's final appearance with the band. The album's studio engineer, Armand John Anthony, stepped in as his replacement, and the revised lineup — which also featured drummer Dusty Squires, who replaced Patrick Bailey in 2013 — toured the globe in support of Curse of the Damned's release. A second album, Darkness Remains, was released in 2017, with reviews likening the record's vintage metal sound to that of Iron Maiden and Jaguar. After touring Europe with the band Accept in early 2018, Night Demon released a live album, Live Darkness, that summer. A new of singles were released in 2020, including "Kill the Pain" and "Are You Out There." Year of the Demon, the band's first full-length album in nearly five years, arrived in 2022, featuring all of the singles previously released in 2020. One year later, the band returned with another record, Outsider, which debuted at Number 16 on the Top 100 Albums chart in Germany.
