Nothing More

Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, the Grammy-nominated hard rock band Nothing More formed in 2003 and began earning Top 10 hits on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart during the following decade. Drummer Jonny Hawkins and guitarist Mark Vollelunga formed the band as high-school students, and Nothing More made its full-length debut with the album Shelter in 2004. A second album, Save You/Save Me, followed in 2007. Soon after, the band drastically restructured its lineup, with Hawkins leaving his spot as the band's drummer in order to take over frontman duties. With Hawkins at the helm, Nothing More began refining its brand of radio-friendly hard rock with 2009's The New Not Fleeting, then found commercial success for the first time with the album's follow-up, the self-titled Nothing More, in 2013. Nothing More reached Number 33 on the Billboard 200 and Number 3 on the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart, with three singles — "Jenny," "Here's to the Heartache," and the Number 2 hit "This is the Time (Ballast)" — all cracking the Top 10 of the Mainstream Rock Songs chart. "Go to War," the first release from the band's fifth album, The Stories We Tell Ourselves, peaked at Number 1 on the same chart in 2017, with the follow-up hits "Do You Really Want?" and "Just Say When" both reaching the Top 10, as well. The Stories We Tell Ourselves was released later that year and hit Number 15 on the Billboard 200. It later received a Grammy nomination for "Best Rock Album," with "Go to War" receiving additional nominations for "Best Rock Performance" and "Best Rock Song." Five years later, Nothing More launched a new album cycle with "Tired of Winning," which reached Number 23 on the Mainstream Rock chart.
