Our Lady Peace

Our Lady Peace are a Canadian alternative rock band with a current line-up of singer-guitarist Raine Maida, guitarist Steve Mazur, bassist Duncan Coutts and drummer Jason Pierce. Maida formed the band in Toronto in 1992 with bassist Paul Martin, who left shortly after, and guitarist Mike Turner, who left in 2001. The line-up changed over the years with members including drummer Jeremy Taggart, who was there from 1993 to 2014. Their 1994 debut album, 'Naveed', went to number 12 on the Canada Albums Chart and the track 'Starseed' reached number seven on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Chart and number ten on the Alternative Rock Chart. 'Happiness... Is Not a Fish That You Can Catch' (1999) topped the Canada Albums Chart, 'Spirited Machines' (2000) went to number five, 'Gravity' (2002) and 'Healthy in Paranoid Times' (2005) both peaked at number two, 'Burn Burn' (2009) hit number three, 'Curve' made it to number nine and 'Somethingness' (2018) reached number 29. Their 2003 concert release 'Live' reached number five on the Canada Albums chart and they have released two compilation albums, 'A Decade' (2006) and 'The Very Best of Our Lady Peace' (2009). Singles 'Clumsy', 'One Man Army', 'Somewhere Out There', 'Angels/Losing/Sleep' and 'Heavyweight' all topped the Canada singles chart. Their 2020 schedule was to include appearances at venues in British Columbia and Nova Scotia.
