Rubikon

Rubikon are a veteran hard rock band hailing from Boston, USA, infusing their music with elements of the blues, metal and a touch of prog. They started out in 2001 when Doug Arkham, Hugh Eaton, Dave Raymond and Jae Sims came together to record a couple of EPs and make something of a splash on their regional circuit. In 2004 they released their debut full-length album, 'Hollow Men', touring the album extensively before deciding to take some time out to spend with family and attend school. By 2009 they were back, however, adding Joshua Gruss into the mix and getting back in the studio to record 'American Dream Machine', released in 2011. Their third album, 'Delta', followed in 2015 through Tapete Records. It was recorded under the influence of producer Marti Frederiksen who encouraged the band to evolve their sound with the inclusion of the banjo, dobro, mandolin, harmonica and more obscure forms of percussion. In 2019 Rubikon released their fourth studio album, 'The Record'.
