Sie7e

David Rodríguez Labault, born on July 7, 1977, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, is a Latin Grammy-winning singer and songwriter better known by his stage name Sie7e. He embarked on his musical journey after studying sound engineering in the United States, where he was involved in various music projects. Upon returning to Puerto Rico, he initially worked in advertising before making a decisive shift to focus on his passion for music. Sie7e’s musical career officially took off in 2005. He released his self-titled album Sie7e in 2006. His career continued to ascend, and he subsequently released two more albums, Para Mí (2008) and Mucha Cosa Buena (2011). Initially signed to Universal Music, Sie7e made a significant career move in 2011 by signing with Warner Music Latina. One of the pinnacle moments of his career came on November 10, 2011, when he was honored with the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist, a testament to his talent and the impact of his music. The album Relax followed in 2014, a tremendous success featuring the hit single "Tengo Tu Love." After the release of his 2020 album Gaia, Sie7e went through a divorce, which inspired the material for his next album. In 2023, Sie7e released Origami, a critically acclaimed album that featured the single "Ya No Tengo Tu Love," a thematic sequel to his breakout hit "Tengo Tu Love." The LP also included collaborations with Eix, Rafa Pabön, and AloSofia.
