Timati

Timur Ildarovich Yunusov, who goes by the name Timati, is a Russian hip-hop performer who spent some of his youth in Los Angeles, California where he studied the violin. He appeared on a talent show called 'Star Factory 4' on Russian TV and in Fyodor Bondarchuk's feature film 'Heat' in 2006. He collaborated with Snoop Dogg on the track 'Groove On' in 2009 and released the albums 'Black Star' in 2007 and 'Swagg' in 2012. He collaborated with DJ Antoine and Kalenna on the single 'Welcome to St. Tropez', which reached number three on Billboard's Germany Songs Chart in 2011, and on 'Not All About Money' with La La Land featuring Timbaland and Grooya, which went to number 24 on the Japan Hot 100 in 2013. Album '13' came out in 2013 followed by 'Audiokapsula' (2014), 'G.T.O.' (2015) and 'Olimp' (2016). He has been nominated as Best Russian Act three times in the MTV Europe Music Awards and he is active in business with a clothing line, a restaurant and a tattoo shop. His 2018 schedule included appearances at venues in Turkey, Latvia and the UK.
