Trisha Yearwood

Trisha Yearwood is one of the leading female American country singers with many hit recordings that have made her popular around the world. She has had 18 releases on Billboard's Top Country Albums Chart with 14 in the top ten and four that reached number one, with 45 tracks on the Hot Country Songs Chart including 19 in the top ten and five at number one. She has garnered 27 Grammy Award nominations with three wins plus nominations and wins in the Country Music Association Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards. She is also a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Born in Georgia, Yearwood sang in choirs and musical productions in high school and after college she went to work at MTM Records. She made demos and sang back-up on tracks including on future husband Garth Brooks' second album 'No Fences' in 1990. She toured with Brooks and released an eponymous debut album which went to number two on the Country Albums Chart in 1991. Three of her chart-topping releases, '(Songbook) A Collection of Hits' (1997), 'Inside Out' (2001) and 'Jasper County' (2005), were nominated for Grammy Awards as Best Country Album and her fourth was 'Christmas Together' (2016) with husband Garth Brooks. Her other top ten hits on the chart include Grammy nominees 'The Song Remembers When' (1993) at number six, 'Thinkin' About You' (1995) number three, 'Everybody Knows' (1996) number six, 'Where Your Road Leads' (1998) number three, 'Real Life Woman' (2000) number four and 'Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love' (2007) number ten. 'Greatest Hits' (2007) number two, and 'Prizefighter: Hit After Hit' (2014) number seven and 'Christmas Together / Gunslinger' with Garth Brooks (2016) number three. Her number one singles on the Top Country Songs Chart are the Grammy Award-nominated 'She's in Love With the Boy' (1991), 'XXX's and OOO's (An American Girl)' (1994), 'Thinkin' About You' (1995) and 'Believe Me Baby (I Lied)' (1996) plus 'Perfect Love' (1998). The song 'How Do I Live' from the movie 'Con Air' went to number two in 1997. In December 2018 she released an album titled 'Let's Be Frank' featuring 12 songs made famous by Frank Sinatra including 'Come Fly With Me', 'One for the Road', 'The Lady Is a Tramp' and 'I'll Be Seeing You'.
