Vitaa

Charlotte Gonin, who goes by the stage name Vitaa, is a French R&B and pop singer whose debut album À Fleur de Toi topped the French Albums Chart in 2007. Born in Mulhouse, France on March 14, 1983, Vitaa first found fame away from the spotlight as a backing singer, before stepping out alone and notching up consecutive chart wins for her solo work. Her second studio album, Celle Que Je Vois (2010), went to Number 10, while 2013's Ici et Maintenant was placed at Number 16, La Même (2015) at Number 27 and J4m (2017) at Number 12. Her 2013 track “Game Over” featuring Maître Gims topped the French Singles Chart, “Peine & pitié” (2017) reached Number 3 and “Je te le donne” (2018) with Slimane went to Number 12. Vitaa featured with Maître Gims, Dadju, and Slimane on Naestro’s “Bella ciao,” which topped Billboard's French Digital Song Sales chart in 2018. Keeping up with her consistently good track record, “Versus” with Slimane was popular on its release in 2019 and she collaborated with him on 2019's VersuS album as well as 2020's VersuS - Chapitre II. Preceded by the singles “Marine” and “Ma sœur,” Sorøre, her collaborative album with fellow singers Amel Bent and Camélia Jordana, saw the light in 2021.
