Walker Hayes

Walker Hayes is an American country musician best known for the platinum-certified hits "You Broke Up with Me" and "Fancy Like." Born in Mobile, Alabama, on December 27, 1979, he moved to Nashville in 2005 and scored a Top 40 hit with his debut single, "Pants," in 2010. The song was followed by "Why Wait for Summer," which peaked at number 42. Both songs later reappeared in 2011 on his debut album Reason to Rhyme, which was followed six years later by his 2017 sophomore record, Boom. The album was a hit, charting at Number 37 on the Billboard 200 and Number 6 on the Top Country Albums chart. It was the popular single "You Broke Up with Me" that truly propelled Hayes' career to the next echelon, however, with the song climbing to Number 9 on the Hot Country Songs chart and earning double-platinum sales. An EP titled Country Stuff appeared in 2021 and earned another double-platinum hit with "Fancy Like," which also became Hayes' first Number 1 song on the country charts. "Fancy Like" also climbed to Number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in America and Number 9 on the Canadian Hot 100, and was included in Walker Hayes' third full-length record, Country Stuff the Album, in January 2022.
