When you favorite a song, you tell Slacker how much you like the song. Slacker then will play that song more often. Slacker also will play more songs that are similar to the one you favorited.
Users with a Premium subscription can save the songs that they favorite. And they can save songs without favoriting.
NOTE: If you have not signed in to your Slacker account, you will not be allowed to favorite or save songs.
Favorite a Song
The Favorite feature works for the song you currently are playing or the songs that have been played on the current radio session. You may favorite as many songs as you desire.
| 1. | Click the button. The heart turns yellow and a is displayed. |
| 2. | Check Rate as Favorite to favorite the song. Check Save Song to save the song to your Library. (The save feature only work if you have a Premium subscription.) When you have made your choices, click OK. |
NOTE: If you have a Premium subscription and check the "Don't show again" checkbox on this message, then you automatically will favorite and save a song when you press the Favorite button.

You can favorite a song previously played on the current radio station session.
| 1. | In the , you'll see a list of all the songs played during this session. |
| 2. | Right click on a song. A is displayed. |
| 3. | Select Mark Song as Favorite. |

Un-favorite a Song
If you change your mind about a favorite rating, you can remove the rating two ways: the Edit Station feature and the Unrate as Favorite feature.

You can un-favorite multiple songs on a station at one time using the Edit Station feature.
| 1. | Navigate to the station page. |
| 4. | Click the of the song you no longer want favorited. The heart will change from yellow to an outline. |
