To power your Slacker Portable on or off, do the following:

The Portable will power down automatically after 2 minutes if it is not playing any music AND you are not interacting with it.

If the Portable is playing music but you are not interacting with it, the Portable will shut off the screen in order to conserve the battery.  If this happens and you want to view the screen, you can press any button once to turn on the screen again.
