Frankie Ruiz's most commercially successful album stands as a classic of its own kind, where his rich voice reached incredible heights as he displayed an uncommon flair for singing the genre. "Tu Eres," "Me Dejo," "Entre el Fuego y la Pared," "Deseándote," "En Epoca de Celo," and "Deseándote" were certifiable smashes. This features great production by Julio César Delgado and Frank Torres that nicely displayed the vocalist's charismatic persona to enthusiastic salsa aficionados. Ironically, the vocalist would not record until three years after this release due to his highly publicized imprisonment. ~ José A. Estévez, Jr.
