Frankie Ruiz's highly publicized return after a three-year absence yielded one of his finest recordings, a swinging feast that combines the best of the newer salsa trends kept tasteful enough to satisfy the most jaded salsa dancer. The title tune (by Pedro Azael and Laly Carrizo) echoes the singer's own aches and pains; "Bailando" is another colorful mini-masterpiece. Arranger Louis García makes the most with charts like "Otra Vez" and "¿Quién Es Tu Amigo?". A brilliant comeback by one of salsa's most talented singers. ~ José A. Estévez, Jr.
