San Diego's dynamic In Fear and Faith are more ambitious than your average screamo act. “Your World on Fire” expertly balances stunning blasts of post-hardcore with moments of surprising delicacy. This six-man band creates complex music that defies easy comparison. “The End” is high drama played out with throat-shredding roars and melodic passages, while “The Road to Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions” sparkles with piano even as the drums hammer and dual vocals play off each other. Each song tries to soar higher than the last one, which is a most impressive feat.
