Ultra Naté 5/12/1998

Review

After her 1997 platinum single "Free," Strictly Rhythm recruited a host of producers (Masters at Work, Mood II Swing, D-Influence) to try and break Ultra Naté as an album artist, not just a club-track songstress. For the most part it fails to work, as tracks like "Release the Pressure," "Divine Love" and the clichéd ballad "It's Crying Time" doing little to support Naté's admittedly strong voice. ~ John Bush
