Aaron Cole

Christian hip-hop artist Aaron Cole was born on February 28, 1999 in Bristol Virginia. He was raised in a musical family and began rapping at the age of 3. His father wrote a song called “Jesus is the Rock” for him, which became the title of his first album, released on CD in 2003. By the time he reached high school, he decided to pursue music as a career. He released the album, 4th Period, in 2012. He then released a series of EPs including Fifteen is the New XV (2014), If I Can Be Honest (2016), Virginia Boy (2018) and The Other Side (2018). He collaborated with TobyMac on the Top 30 singles “Start With Me” and “Right on Time”. In 2019, he released the full-length album Not By Chance, which featured the singles “Fasho” and “There for Me”. Cole won the GMA Dove Award for New Artist of the Year 2019, and had his music featured on Netflix’s On My Block and in promo spots for ESPN and Fox Sports. In early 2020, he the AOTY single which contained the songs “Mad!” and “My Year”. In May 2020, he issued the Only U Forever single, which featured the songs “Only U” and “Forever Grateful”.
