Blackbear

Matthew Tyler Musto, aka Blackbear, is an American rapper and R&B performer who began his career as a teenager with Florida band Polaroid. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue a solo career and co-wrote songs for artists ranging from Justin Bieber to Childish Gambino and Miley Cyrus. He released an EP titled 'Year of the Blackbear' in 2011 followed by another EP, 'Foreplay', and a mixtape, 'Sex' in 2012. His 2015 debut album 'Deadroses' went to number 20 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart and number 37 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. 'Help' (2015) reached number 14 on the Top R&B Albums chart, number 24 on the Independent Albums chart and number 34 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. 'Dead (Acoustic)' (2015) peaked at number 14 on the Top R&B Albums and number 34 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. 'Cashmere Noose' EP (2016) hit number five on the Top R&B Albums chart and went to number seven on the Independent Albums and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. 'Cybersex' (2017) reached number eight on the Top R&B Albums chart and number 21 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. 'digital druglord' (2017) topped the Independent Albums chart and went to number three on the Top R&B Albums chart, number seven on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and number 14 on the Billboard 200. 'Do Re Mi' (2017) peaked at number two on the Hot R&B Songs and R&B Streaming Songs charts and reached number three on the Rhythmic Songs chart, number 12 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, number 14 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs and number 26 on the Mainstream Top 40. 'Idfc' (2017) went to number 14 on the Hot R&B Songs chart and number 22 on the R&B Streaming Songs chart. 'IDWK' (2018) with DVBBS hit number 12 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. In 2019, he released the singles '1 Sided Love' and 'Swear to God' and his fifth album, 'Anonymous'.
