BRKN Love

BRKN LOVE is the name used by the Canadian singer, songwriter and musician Justin Benlolo for his alternative rock project. Benlolo is a native of Toronto whose dream has been to be a professional musician ever since he dropped out of school at the age of sixteen. His musical influences are drawn from the harder side of rock and include Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden as well as current day performers such as Royal Blood. Following his initial move to the USA to pursue his musical ambitions, Benlolo based himself in New York but found it hard to break into the music business and after two fruitless years headed west to Los Angeles. After approaching various record companies with his demos, he was noticed by the record producer Joel Hamilton and the two men collaborated to create enough material for an album. To promote the new material, Benlolo assembled a scratch band for live performances and after a well-received showcase gig back in New York the artist was signed by Spinefarm Records. His critically-acclaimed debut single 'Shot Down' was released in early 2019.
