Crobot

Formed by Brandon Yeagley and Chris Bishop, Crobot is a hard rock band from the mountain town of Pottsville, Pennsylvania. The group launched in 2011, with the debut EP The Legend of the Spaceborne Killer arriving in 2012. Yeagley and Bishop reshuffled Crobot's roster after the EP's release, with brothers Paul and Jake Figueroa comprising the revised rhythm section. This new lineup attracted attention from executives at Wind-up Records, who signed the band in 2013 and released their self-titled EP one year later. "Nowhere to Hide," the EP's most successful single, reached Number 16 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Singles chart, and Crobot remained on the Billboard charts with the release of their first full-length album, Something Supernatural, in October 2014. The album peaked at Number 18 on the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart, while its follow-up, 2016's Welcome to Fat City, climbed to Number 16. The following year brought more lineup changes, with Dan Ryan climbing aboard as the band's new drummer and James Alexander Lascu joining on bass. Crobot signed with a new label, too, partnering with Mascot Records in November 2018 and releasing Motherbrain in 2019. The band's third release, Motherbrain peaked at Number 6 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart, with the lead single "Low Life" climbing to Number 10 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart. A second single, "Gasoline," also became a mainstream rock hit, rising to Number 24. After releasing the Rat Child EP in 2021, Crobot returned in 2022 with another album, Feel This, featuring the hit single "Set You Free."
