Dalbello

Lisa Dal Bello, aka Dalbello, is a Canadian singer-songwriter who began her career with a self-titled EP at the age of 14 in 1974. Despite the fact that the record was not available to buy and could, in fact, only be played by Canada's national radio station CBC, it attracted the attention of a major US record label. She signed with MCA Records and produced a self-titled LP in 1977. From then until 1999 she produced albums and singles, also collaborations with such musical legends as Mick Ronson and Duran Duran's John Taylor. Her last studio LP was released in 1999. Since then she has worked in television as well as writing music for artists as diverse as Patti LaBelle, Branford Marsalis and Julian Lennon.
