Biography

Los Angeles-based house duo DJDS (aka DJ Dodger Stadium) first burst onto the scene with the release of their acid-drenched, ghetto house debut Stadium Status in 2011. Formed by Jerome Potter (aka Jerome LOL) and Sam Griesemer (aka Samo Sound Boy), the pair released the EP on their own label, Body High. With a handful of remixes under their belt, DJDS released debut album Friend of Mine in 2014. By 2016, they had become sought-after producers, working on the likes of Kanye West's The Life of Pablo -- earning themselves a Grammy nomination for "Best Rap Song" in the process -- and the-Dream's Love You to Death EP. That same year they issued their sophomore album, Stand Up and Speak. 2017 saw DJDS working on Khalid's debut album, American Teen, with the singer/songwriter returning the favor on their own single "Why Don't You Come On?" The single "Trees of Fire," which featured vocals from the likes of Amber Mark and Marco McKinnis, was also released in 2017. ~ Rich Wilson
