Elderbrook

Elderbrook is the alias of Londoner Alexander Kotz who began his musical career in a folky, acoustic indie band before giving that up after hearing hip-hop and then EDM. Leaving university he adopted his alias and released his debut EP that took the same name. He worked on new ideas and in 2015 toured and collaborated with Gorgon City. His first solo tour in 2017 was a big success with sell-out gigs at London's XOYO and Oval Space. His big break also came in 2017 with a collaboration with DJ duo CamelPhat and the release of 'Cola' a popular dance club hit. Not only that but the song was also nominated for a very prestigious Ivor Novello Award for Best Contemporary Song and a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Track. 2018 saw a slew of releases and further collaborations. His first solo hit since 'Cola' also came in 2018 with the EP and single, 'Old Friend'. 2019 saw him team-up with Platinum-selling British four-piece, Rudimental. Elderbrook's style is eclectic and he used his training in piano and guitar among other instruments to create original sounds with his aim being to produce sounds that no one has ever heard before.
