Eric Lau

Born in London, England on November 10, 1981, Eric Lau is a British music producer and DJ. His hip-hop and soul-influenced production style is a mixture of live and sequenced instrumentation. His first release was the track “I Feel Fine” (featuring Rahel), which appeared on the 2006 single Brownswood Bubblers (Part 4), a split release with Iman. The first release under his own name was the Presents Dudley and Friends EP, released in 2006 on the Fat City Records label. His 2008 debut album, New Territories, was a critical success. He followed the album up in 2010 with the EP Kilawatt: V2, another critically acclaimed release. Lau then released a pair of instrumental albums – Makin’ Sound (2010) and Quadrivium (2011). In early 2012, he released The Mission EP, which featured guest appearances from Guilty Simpson, Olivier Daysoul, and Fatima. His next album, One of Many, followed in 2013. The Love Call EP (2014) was a collaboration with vocalist Tawiah. After a short break, Lau returned with the album Examples in 2017, followed by Examples Volume Two in 2018.
