Fleshgod Apocalypse

Italian symphonic death metal band Fleshgod Apocalypse is a technical and heavy force to be reckoned with; lighting-speed axe-wielding, extreme blast beats, operatic vocals, demonic growling and symphonic piano runs that add a touch of orchestral refinement. The band formed in Perugia, Italy in 2007, and released their debut album Oracles in 2008. Fleshgod Apocalypse has now furnished the metal canon with five full-length albums to date, including 2011's orchestral-enhanced Agony, 2013's Labyrinth – a concept album about the myth of the Labyrinth of Knossos – and 2019's punishing Veleno LP. In December 2020, the six-piece – made up of founder, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Francesco Paoli, pianist and orchestrator Francesco Ferrini, bassist Paolo Rossi, drummer Eugene Ryabchenko, operatic vocalist Veronica Bordacchini and guitarist Fabio Bartoletti – released new EP, No.
