Flex

Panamanian reggaeton singer Flex first emerged on the music scene in 1997, recording and self-publishing mixtapes. In 2000 he was spotted by Celia Torres, a reggae producer, which led to him appearing on the track 'Dejala' (2000) with singer Duende as part of the mixtape 'La Propias 2000'; this was a success in several Latin American countries. He spent the next few years appearing on collaborations and touring throughout Latin America, particularly Ecuador, where he garnered a large fan base. In 2007 he released his hit single 'Te Quiero' and the album of the same name in Mexico. It was such a big hit that he decided to release the album and single in the USA. It was also number one in several Latin American countries including Mexico where it stayed at the top of the charts for more than ten weeks. In 2009 Flex released his second album 'La Evolución Romantic Style' and his third 'Romantic Style Parte 3... Desde la Esencia' in 2010.
