Frank Ray

Francisco Gomez (January 8, 1990), better known by his stage name Frank Ray, is an American country singer-songwriter from Deming, New Mexico. After his parents divorced when he was four years old, he spent a couple of years in Texas with his mother before settling down with his father in Columbus, New Mexico. There, he acquired a taste not only for country music, but also ranchera, a traditional genre from northern Mexico. Between 2007 and 2017, he began playing live shows at local venues and had a couple of hits on the regional Texas charts while working as a police officer in the city of Las Cruces. In 2018, his growing success led him to quit his job and pursue a career as a professional singer, releasing the EP Different Kind of Country under the alias Frank Ray. Soon enough, one of his songs caught the attention of the label BBR Music Group, who quickly added him to their roster and released the single "Streetlights" in 2021. A second track titled "Country'd Look Good on You" hit the shelves later that year and climbed to Number 27 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart.
