Louis Tomlinson

Louis Tomlinson is an English pop singer who first gained fame as a member of the boy band One Direction before launching a similarly successful career as a solo artist. Born in Doncaster, England, on December 24, 1991, he auditioned for "The X Factor" as a teenager and, following his elimination from the competition, became a founding member of One Direction. The group was massively successful, selling 70 million records globally and earning four Number 1 hits on the UK Singles Chart. When members of the band decided to pursue individual ventures, Tomlinson released the single "Just Hold On," which reached Number 2 in the UK and effectively marked the start of his solo career in December 2016. His second single, "Back to You," became a Top 10 hit in 2017, and he released the full-length solo album Walls in January 2020. The album charted at Number 4 in the UK and Number 9 in the US, which the lead single "Miss You" peaking at Number 39 in the UK. Two years later, he reached Number 1 in the UK with his second solo album, Faith in the Future, which featured the singles "Bigger Than Me" and "Out of my System."
