Luke Combs

Luke Combs is one of the most successful American country singers of the modern era, having released more than a dozen chart-topping singles from his first four albums. Born on March 2, 1990, in Charlotte, North Carolina, he released his debut EP, The Way She Rides, in 2014. Once “Hurricane” began climbing the charts in 2015 (and eventually reached Number 1 in early 2017), Combs' career took off. This One's for You, his multi-platinum debut album, was released in 2017 and peaked at Number 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums, sending four additional songs to the top of the Country Singles chart. 2019's What You See Is What You Get also reached Number 1, as did tracks like “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” “Even Though I'm Leaving,” "Better Together," and the Eric Church duet "Does To Me." The Grammy-nominated Growin’ Up followed in 2022, becoming Combs’ third consecutive album to reach Number 1. The album's three singles -- “Doin’ This,” “The Kind of Love We Make,” and "Going, Going, Gone" -- all topped either the Country Airplay or the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, as well. Growin' Up's companion album, Gettin' Old, arrived one year later, accompanied by the lead single "Love You Anyway."
