Miloš Karadaglić

Born in Montenegro on April 23, 1983, but based in England since 2000, Miloš Karadaglić – sometimes working under the name MILOŠ – is an acclaimed classical guitarist. His early albums were internationally successful: Mediterraneo (2011) went to number 5 on Billboard's Classical Albums Chart; Latino/Pasión (2012) reached number 2, as did Aranjuez (2014). He received high praise for concerts in New York, London and Berlin and he played with orchestras in Chicago, Cleveland, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia and all across Europe. Miloš Karadaglić contributed music to the 2014 animated Japanese film When Marnie Was There, co-presented the 2014 BBC Young Musician competition and appeared on the Sky Arts show Guitar Star. His tribute album Blackbird: The Beatles Album (2016), was another success, reaching number 7 on the chart. However, in November 2016, he announced on social media that a recurring physical issues would force him to stop playing for up to one year. Thankfully, his fans' worries were eased a year later when he announced that he had taken up the guitar again and had begun to practice two concertos that he would perform over the next couple of years. He returned to performing and recording, releasing the albums Sound of Silence (2019), The Moon & the Forest (2021), and Baroque (2023).
