Latin pop duo MYA was formed by two Argentinian musicians, Maxi Espindola from Córdoba and Angus Bernasconi from Tucumán. They were discovered by Cris Morena after the two men entered a reality show hosted by Morena's production company. With Morena's backing the duo emerged as one of Argentina's most successful young musical talents to have launched their careers through the medium of reality TV. Within two weeks of its launch, their promotional video for the 2019 single 'Te Olvidaré' had garnered eleven million views. The single, which features Pedro Capó, established the duo's credentials as one of South America's most popular recording artists.
