Nora En Pure

Deep house adventurer Nora En Pure has a knack for merging the classical and acoustic instrumentation of her musical background with organic sounds and the hypnotic pulse of electronic dance music. Born Daniela Niederer (now Daniela Di Lillo) on July 20, 1990 in Johannesburg, South Africa to a South African mother and Swiss father, she moved to Switzerland as a child and was surrounded by music from an early age, learning both the flute and the piano. She first gained attention in 2013 for her breakout single "Come With Me," which charted at Number 41 in Belgium, and began releasing a steady stream of popular dance singles and EPs including 2016's "Lake Arrowhead," 2017's "Conquer Yosemite" and 2018's Polynesia EP, often embracing a voyage-like aesthetic by incorporating a global sound palette. 2019 saw the release of "Homebound" and following appearances at Tomorrowland and Coachella, she dropped "We Found Love" (featuring Ashibah) and "Birthright," also picking up the Best House Artist (female) award at the International Dance Music Awards in 2019 and 2020. In 2020, a new single, "Delta / Bartok," emerged along with "Wetlands," on which she folds in operatic and natural sounds. More singles arrived in 2021, "Thermal / Oblivion" and "Aquatic," both released on her longtime label home of Enormous Tunes.
