Olivia

Olivia Trappeniers (August 12, 1997), better known as OT or simply Olivia, is a Flemish pop singer from Antwerp who rose to the public eye as a contestant on the reality singing competition The Voice van Vlaanderen. Raised in the suburb of Deurne, she auditioned for the show in 2016 with a cover of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” and joined Bent Van Looy’s team. Although she was eliminated right after the first live show, her involvement in The Voice helped her kickstart her solo career as she went on to win the first edition of Belgian radio MNM’s Rising Star competition with a performance of Martin Garrix’s “There for You.” In 2017, Olivia made her official debut with the single “You Have a Heart,” a collaboration with Belgian-Dutch DJ and producer Regi. The track peaked at Number 3 on the Ultratop charts and was certified gold shortly after. Further success ensued with the subsequent singles “Where Is My Love?” (2018) and “Bad Advice” (2019), followed by her debut EP Confessions in November 2019. In 2020, Olivia was featured on the TV show Liefde voor muziek, and her song “Kom wat dichterbij” with Regi and Jake Reese soared to the top of the Belgian charts, winning the Radio 2 Zomerhit award. A year later, she returned with the single “Unforgettable Nights,” which went to Number 30 in Belgium.
