Pretty Vicious

Pretty Vicious are a Welsh four-piece band from Merthyr Tydfil. Their name is a reference to Sex Pistols' single 'Pretty Vacant' and bass player Sid Vicious. They gained attention as teenagers with a SoundCloud version of 'Cave Song', a storming tale of hometown alienation released in 2014. The buzz around the band led to them featuring on Radio 1, playing the Glastonbury and Isle of Wight festivals and supporting the Prodigy, Manic Street Preachers, The Vaccines and The Courteeners. Their 2015 song 'Are You Ready for Me?' was used as the soundtrack for the video game 'Life Is Strange: Before the Storm'. They made their recording debut with the 'Cave Song' EP in 2016 and followed this up with the single 'Blister'. Recording their debut album proved troublesome with the band having various issues to contend with, but they eventually released their debut album 'Beauty of Youth' in 2019, featuring the singles 'Move' and 'These Four Walls'.
