Rachael Lampa

Rachael Lampa (January 8, 1985) is an American contemporary Christian music artist and record producer. Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but raised in Louisville, Colorado, she began singing as a child and won several competitions before being discovered by A&R and producer Brent Bourgeois at the age of 14. Following a bidding war between labels, she was finally signed to Word Records and released her studio debut Live for You in 2000. Driven by the chart-topping hits "Blessed," "Shaken," "God Loves You," and "Live for You," the album garnered positive reviews and debuted at Number 2 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers Album chart. After touring the US with established acts such as Stacie Orrico, Amy Grant, Destiny's Child, and Boyz II Men, Rachael Lampa dropped her second album, Kaleidoscope, in 2002. Produced by Tommy Sins, her eponymous third full-length arrived in 2004 and elicited praise from critics due to its adventurous mix of genres. In the following years, Rachael Lampa released the EP Three Songs for Christmas (2009), as well as the studio albums Human (2010) and All We Need (2011), her first release for the Universal Christian Music Group label. During this time, she also toured as a background singer with Jordin Sparks and participated in the NBC reality show The Sing-Off with a group of friends known as The Collective. In 2017, she resumed her music career with a cover of the hymn "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus," followed by the standalone singles "He's Good," and "Side of My Heart" two years later. Between 2020 and 2021, Rachael Lampa issued the non-album tracks "Higher," "What If," and "We Can Be Friends," and returned to the charts in 2022 with "Perfectly Loved," which peaked at Number 46 on the Hot Christian Songs chart.
