Taiki

Japanese actor, singer, and tarento, Taiki Yamazaki, was born on October 3, 1995, in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. His journey as a performer began in 2010 when he participated in the 23rd Junon Super Boy Contest with his rendition of L'Arc-en-Ciel's "Caress of Venus", winning him the Special Jury Prize, leading to a contract with Itoh Company. In May 2012, he co-founded the cheering squad 'Tower Boys' at Tokyo Tower alongside Yuta Higuchi and Daisuke Iku, regularly participating in numerous events. After performing in various films and television dramas, his breakout role came as Naga Ray/Hebitsukai Silver in the 2017 Super Sentai series, Uchu Sentai Kyuranger. Since then, he has starred in various television dramas and films, including The Confidence Man JP (2018) and Kamen Rider Zi-O (2017). Alongside his acting career, Taiki Yamazaki ventured into singing, making his debut in January 2018 with the digital single "Imagenerations" followed by J-pop single "Multicoloured World" two years later. In 2021, he released the music video for his third single, "Zassou Damashii Namennayo! (Don't underestimate a weed soul!)”, which served as the theme song for the ongoing third season of the TV anime Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki. The single also included two other songs used in the show: "Mizufusen" and "Hotsuresekai." In July 2023, Yamazaki delighted fans with the release of his compilation album, Taiki THE BEST, featuring a selection of his previous singles along with new tracks. The album climbed to number 25 on the Top 100 Albums chart in Japan.
