In 1986, Tony Vega moved to New York, teaming up with Louie Ramírez and making an album called Super Banda; he later performed alongside Eddie Palmieri. After signing up to RMM, Yo Me Quedo became his solo debut album. In 1996, Tony Vega participated in Tropical Tribute to the Beatles, featuring "Hey Jude" and "Come Together." ~ Drago Bonacich
