Yungen

Clive James Brooks, who goes by the name Yungen, is an English hip-hop performer from South London who began performing as a teenager. He first gained attention in 2010 with tracks on YouTube and then on his own Yungen TV online channel. He toured the United Kingdom and Europe and played in Australia and released singles such as 'Ain't On Nuttin' with Sneakbo. A mixtape titled 'Topic of Discussion' came out in 2013 followed in 2014 by the album 'Project Black & Red'. He was nominated as Best Newcomer at the 2015 MOBO Awards and NME Awards and in 2017 his track 'Bestie' featuring Yxng Bane went to number ten on the Official U.K. Singles Chart. In 2017 'All Night' featuring Mr Eazi reached number 98 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart and 'Bad' with Steel Banglez and Mostack peaked at number 29. He performed at the V Festival and in 2018 'Mind On It' featuring Jess Glynne went to number 47 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart. In 2019, he released his second album, 'Project Purple' and the track 'Comfortable' featuring Dappy peaked at number 32 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart. His 2019 schedule was to include appearances at the Snowboxx Festival in Avoriaz, France, and South West Four in London.
