9Nine were a Japanese all-female J-pop band who's original 2005 line-up was reduced in latter years to singers Uki Satake and Sayaka Nishiwaki plus Kanae Yoshi and Hirona Murata. Their albums include 'First 9' (2007), 'Second 9' (2008), '9nine' (2012), 'Cue' (2013), 'Magi9 Playland' (2014) and 'Best9' (2016). They released a handful of DVDs and singles including 'Shojo Traveller', which reached number nine on Japan's Oricon Singles Chart in 2012. 'Re:' (2013) went to number six, 'With You / With Me' (2014) and 'Ai Ai Ai' (2016) hit number four and 'Why Don't You RELAX?' (2017) peaked at number 13. In February 2019, the remaining members announced that they were going on an indefinite hiatus.
