Austria's catchy summer hit of 2018 was the song 'Cordula Green', or to be more correct 'Cordula Grün'. It was written and performed by Austrian singer/songwriter Johannes Sumpich, better known by his stage name Josh., who never expected the song to be a hit and was taken aback by its success in the charts. The song is about a girl called Cordula Green whose name is repeated frequently throughout the chorus. It was played regularly on German and Austrian radio stations and became an anthem at the various festivals around the country. Josh. has capitalised on the unexpected exposure and has been on a busy touring schedule in anticipation of his 2019 debut album 'Von Mädchen und Farben'.
