Jun Fukuyama

The Japanese J-pop artist Jun Fukuyama was born in Hiroshima in 1978 and at the age of 20 embarked on what was to become an extraordinarily prolific career as a voice-over actor in Japan's burgeoning TV anime industry. Since 1998 Fukuyama's voice has featured in hundreds of anime productions, but his defining roles have been as Yuta Taogashi in the 2012 production of 'Love, Chunibyo and other Delusions' and as Ren Anamiya in the video game 'PERSONA5'. After many years of being a faceless voice actor Fukuyama decided to make himself centre stage and in 2009 launched a career as a pop singer with the album 'Romanteki Sekain 32'. In 2019 he released the track 'dis-communicate', his third solo single to date.
