livetune

Livetune+ is a project from producer Kz and model and musician Anna Yano. The project began with an earlier incarnation, simply called Livetune, that consisted of Kz and Kajuki P. They came together during their university days to make music using the Hatsune Miku singing synthesizer, but their popularity on the Nico Nico Douga video sharing website led to the release of an independent album, 'Re:package', in 2007. That, in turn, led to a deal with Victor Entertainment and the re-release of 'Re:package' the following year. In 2009 Kajuki P left the project but Kz continued on solo, collaborating with the likes of ClariS, Kokoto and Twill. Kz kept Livetune going as a solo project for several more years, scoring a hit with the EP 'Tell Your World' in 2014. In 2015, however, Kz made the jump to Warner Music Japan's unBORDE imprint and launched a new project, an evolution of Livetune called livetune+ which also featured model and musician Anna Yano. Together they recorded the song 'Cheers' and the EP 'Sweet Clapper'.
